Junior Video Editor (June 2022)
Learn to edit videos like a pro in this junior editor position, primarily based out of our Drouin office.
The role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and preparing video content throughout the early stages of the editing process, and supporting a collaborative team effort in preparing content ready to present to clients.
A regular day in the office will include:
- Filtering through footage
- Making best-of selections
- Ingesting and backing up media
- Data wrangling
- Editing of various content
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent computer skills
- Be adept with modern technologies and trends
- A passion for clean file management
- A creative flair and a visual eye
- Experience with Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite, or any NLE system would be an advantage, but not required – full training will be provided
This is a casual position, with weekly hours ranging between 2-3 days, pay starting at award rate.
